The formal Inauguration of the two year long celebration to mark the historic 400 years of our Jaigirdari in 1608 was held on 28 th of January, 2007 at Kheput. The family members from Barisha, Halisahar, Uttarpara, Kheput and Birati were present to witness this historic moment. Various programmes were organised at various units of the Parishad. The Closing Ceremony was held on 30 Nov 2008 at Barisha.

The Parishad also celebrated the 400 years of the Durga Pujo in 2009. A special programme was held at Nimta Bari to mark the occasion.
